The Kemarre Arts Glass Collections are a new category of the much sought after original works on glass by Arrernte artist Jenni Kemarre Martiniello. Each piece in the Kemarre Arts Glass Collections is an individual artwork. The designs are inspired by the artist’s connections to her Grandmother’s and Father’s traditional country in Central Australia, images from her aerial photography, and contemporary issues. Because each work is unique, each Collection is a dynamic and evolving series of works in a range of shapes and sizes to suit all purposes, whether as a fully functional piece of tableware, or as a showpiece artwork. Recycled glass is used wherever possible, with a diverse range of textures chosen to enhance the vibrancy of each design. The designs are crafted in vitreous enamels which are then baked onto the glass to ensure lasting brilliance and durability.
